    Step 01
    Powder Treatment
    The powder treatment process is used to produce metal bond formulations optimized for specific applications.

    First, metal powders are accurately weighed and blended through an initial mixing process. The blended powder is then granulated using a granulating system. After granulation, synthetic diamonds are added and mixed with the metal powder.

    DIATOP manufactures specialized metal bonds through its advanced ball mill mixing process to ensure consistent quality and performance.

    Step 02
    Cold Pressing
    The cold pressing process forms the diamond segments by compressing the blended powder and diamonds into precise shapes.

    In addition to automatic cold pressing systems, DIATOP also utilizes precision manual cold pressing capable of controlling weight tolerance within ±0.03 g to maintain stable and consistent quality.

    Our facilities are equipped with automatic, manual, semi-automatic, and patterned segment cold press systems for various production requirements.

    Step 03
    Sintering
    The sintering process applies controlled heat treatment to the pressed segments in order to optimize hardness and bonding performance.

    Heat treatment is performed using hydrogen, vacuum, and nitrogen furnaces depending on the application requirements.

    By preventing over-sintering and under-sintering, the process maximizes durability, cutting efficiency, and overall tool performance.

    After sintering, all segments are inspected using hardness testing equipment to ensure the required hardness standards are achieved.

    Step 04
    Laser Welding & Silver Brazing
    This process welds the sintered diamond segments onto the steel core body.

    Both double-sided laser welding and silver brazing technologies are utilized to ensure strong bonding performance and operational safety.

    Through double-sided laser welding technology, DIATOP provides enhanced durability and reliability for demanding cutting applications.

    After welding, both sides of every segment are tested through torque inspection procedures to ensure welding integrity and safety.

    Step 05
    Tensioning
    To achieve optimum cutting performance, the flatness and tension values of each steel core are precisely inspected using specialized tensioning equipment.

    The flatness and tension of blade cores are carefully adjusted and corrected when necessary to ensure stable operation during high-speed cutting applications.

    Step 06
    Dressing
    During the dressing process, the diamond segments are opened to properly expose the diamonds, improving cutting performance and efficiency.

    Proper diamond exposure through dressing is also essential for maximizing tool life and maintaining stable cutting performance.

    Packing
    During the packaging process, products are packed according to customer requirements and marked with manufacturing dates, safety marks, and customer logos through laser marking and silk-screen printing.

    In addition, final quality control inspections for defective products are conducted during this stage.

    Products are then securely packaged based on the customer’s specified packaging format and prepared for shipment.
